My babies are getting so big. Look closely at their wings and tails. Yup they are getting their big bird feathers. I wish they could stay fuzzy wuzzy for ever, but they are growing up.
They are out growing the totes that we use to keep them in the house. Their little heads can look over the top already. Tomorrow night will be their first night in the coop.
This past week they have been spending the day outside while we are at work. Mr. B and I made them this 'play pen' to stay in during the day. It's a four by six box with wire on the four sides and the top. They are still small enough to be a easy snack for the hawks or a stray cat.
Soon they will outgrow that too.
So sad.
